Ambience

We visited Cook & Collins for a late brunch. Probably, the time influenced a lot in our perceptions.  

 

- Pleasant

- Peaceful

- Enjoyable (however, not exactly what we were looking for a brunch)

- Quiet

- Nearly empty 

- Plenty of tables

- Three different options to be seated. (inside, outside or terrace) we sat outside.

 

We will definitely come back, but next time for an earlier brunch or for dinner. We believe that we should give them a second chance.

avocado + melted onion + bacon + lettuce + whipped goat cheese + honey mustard

pulled chicken + warm candied bacon + grape tomato + green onion + creamy garlic

- Pretty hot (we had to wait for a few minutes before eating it)

- All of the items mingle perfectly in this flat bread

- Perfectly cooked

- Bread was soft and crispy at the same time

Cook’s Classic Benedic

c&c biscuits + Canadian bacon + citrus hollandaise + poached egg + cook’s hashbrowns + seasonal fruit

- Adequate temperature

- Satisfactory portion of hollandaise sauce

 

Hash-Browns

- Over cooked

- Dry

- It was not crispy on the outside

- It was not fluffy on the inside

- Tasteless
